A concert in aid of the Friends of Hereford Cathedral Purcell 'Come Ye Sons of Art' Britten 'Rejoice in the Lamb' Warlock 'Capriol Suite for Strings'
Aled Jones is embarking on a 22-date tour of cathedrals and great churches this summer and will visit Hereford Cathedral on 3 June. He is supported by soprano Julia Clarke, Hereford Cathedral School's Cantabile choir and even by himself as a boy soprano. Tickets are going fast so don't delay.

The Birmingham Triennial Festival was established in 1768. Since then many European composers have written works for or performed at the Festival including Mendelssohn, Saint-Saens, Grieg, Gounod, Dvorak, Sibelius and others. Christopher Morley, music critic for the Birmingham Post, explores the fascinating connection between these composers and the Festival.
In partnership with Ross-on-Wye Arts Appreciation Society Prof. Allen Fisher will talk about the French Impressionists and Tim Porter will present a musical expression of Impressionism.
