Youngsters between the ages 9 and 18 will be on stage playing the full range of woodwind, brass and percussion instruments; some of the older players have been playing with the county bands for 10 years! The bands play a variety of music covering many genres.

Strings’ and beginners’ concert featuring the Starter, Junior and Intermediate String Ensembles together with the Starter Concert Band and the Ukulele Ensemble. Our youngest players, from the age of 7, perform in the two starter ensembles and many of them also take the opportunity to learn the ukulele. Our more experienced string players perform with in the Junior and Intermediate Strings, playing a mixture of classical and contemporary music.
