Violin & Piano Recital in Leominster

The new season at the Lion Ballroom begins with the acclaimed Himley Duo performing a mixed programme of music featuring some of the best-loved pieces for this combination. Anna Downes (violin) and Tony Bridgewater (piano) are extremely accomplished musicians with successful individual careers who have a particular affinity when they play together. Their programme includes the beautiful ‘Spring’ Sonata by Beethoven, a Bach violin sonata, Dvorak’s Sonatina and Monti’s famous Czardas. Tickets at £12 (students £6) from Leominster TIC 01568 616460.
