Trio Severn at Hellens

This is a concert given by Trio Severn, three superb musicians who have prominent individual careers and who have a real affinity when they come together as an ensemble. It will feature works by Schubert at his most heartfelt, his Notturno in E flat, Mendelssohn at his most lyrical, his Piano Trio in D minor and Brahms at his most impassioned, his Piano Trio in C minor, while the inclusion of a work by the pastoral and quintessentially English composer John Ireland surely seems perfect in this rural venue set in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside.
