Flower Songs – a choral workshop

Hereford Chamber Choir’s music director Simon Harper will lead a choral workshop exploring Benjamin Britten’s Five Flower Songs. Composed in 1950 as a 25th wedding anniversary present, these delightful and contrasting partsongs are settings of texts by Herrick, Crabbe and Clare. The workshop will take place on Saturday 5 February at Holy Trinity Church in Hereford, 10 am to 1.30 pm, with registration and music collection from 9.30 am.
