Hay Music and St Mary’s Church invite you to a
MAYDAY CONCERT at 7.30pm on Wednesday May 1 2019 in St Mary’s Church HR3 5EB to hear Hay favourites Marcia Crayford (violin), Moray Welsh (cello) and pianist Caroline Clemmow play trios by Haydn (‘Gypsy Rondo’), Piazzola (‘Spring’ ) and Dvorak (‘Dumky’ Trio) plus solo works for each instrument.
Marcia Crayford was, for many years, leader of the famous Nash Ensemble and has been guest leader of all the major British orchestras. Moray Welsh studied in Moscow with master cellist Rostropovich and has been a member of, or appeared as soloist with, several British orchestras. Caroline Clemmow is perhaps best known for her work in the clebrated piano duo with her husband Anthony Goldstone.
