Celebrated Maggini Quartet in Leominster

One of the finest string quartets in the world, the celebrated Maggini Quartet, will play the fourth quartet from Haydn’s groundbreaking Op 20 set, the so-called ‘Sun’ Quartets; Schubert’s great ‘Death and the Maiden’ Quartet which has become one of the cornerstones of the entire chamber music repertoire; and a new work by acclaimed composer Derek Smith, his Sixth Quartet.
