Celebrated Maggini Quartet at Hellens

One of the finest string quartets in the world, the celebrated Maggini Quartet, will be giving a concert in the Great Barn at Hellens when they will play the fourth quartet from Haydn’s groundbreaking Op 20 set, the so-called ‘Sun’ Quartets; Schubert’s great ‘Death and the Maiden’ Quartet which has become one of the cornerstones of the entire chamber music repertoire; and a new work by acclaimed composer Derek Smith, his Sixth Quartet.
