Boehm Clarinet & Piano Duo Recital

In the lovely Lion Ballroom in Leominster, the Duo (Louisa Davidson on clarinet & Tim Sidford on piano) will play a vibrant programme of English and French music so suited to this combination of instruments. The performance by this highly regarded and well-established duo will include Finzi’s Five Bagatelles, one of his most popular works; the highly imaginative Poulenc Clarinet Sonata; and works by Hurlstone and Pierné. These will be interspersed with atmospheric piano pieces by Debussy (Pagodes and Jardins sous la pluie) and Ragamuffin by John Ireland, a work inspired by the streets of London.
